A month since I last wrote anything...but it's busy at this time of year for a wedding celebrant in France! The season has started already - mine kicked off yesterday with a lovely wedding at the stunning Chateau de Lisse - a relaxed and intimate ceremony. The couple had written their own vows and chosen their readings and everyone commented on what a lovely, individual ceremony it was.
And then there's composing the scripts for all the other ceremonies this year - I like to get organised before things get really busy...However I'm hampered today by goat chasing! Yes, the neighbour's smelly old goat is back - here he is below, in early spring, sussing out what will be good to eat later in the year...and the other two photos show what he has found! My lovely geraniums which haven't even made it into a window box yet! And MY OLIVE TREE - and yes, I do feel a bit shouty about that one!
But I'm enjoying the juxtaposition of being the wedding celebrant in a beautiful chateau one day and a goat chasing banshee the next...
